General

What are the products made of?

All items are made of high-quality, non-toxic polymer clay. Other materials include hypoallergenic stud posts, silver-plated (lead and nickel free) metals, varnish, glue, and beads. All charms are handmade and every detail is carefully sculpted to make it look as realistic as possible.

Will my item look exactly like the one pictured on the website?

As each item is handmade, please note that no item will be an exact replica of the one pictured on our website. There will be a slight difference but they will look very similar to each other. Also, please note that the colours shown on our website will vary depending on your monitor’s setting.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Although the proper measure has been taken to make sure every piece can withstand accidental drops, hits, and shaking from everyday use, please keep in mind that rough usage and force will cause damage to your jewelry. Water and moisture can also tarnish the silver plated metals. Clay Things strongly recommends removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising or doing strenuous activities that can cause excess moisture. Please note that silver plated metals can wear off over time if stored and handled improperly. To prolong the lifespan of your jewelry, you can clean it by wiping with a clean damp cloth before storing it in a cool, dry, airtight container and away from direct sunlight.
